Lace up Those Shoes & Get Out There!
Are you lying there right now, frustrated and wondering what your next step is...or are you too tired to even feel frustrated?
Been there!
Article Summary - 5 Reasons to Go for a Walk to Reset
1) Remind Yourself of the Power of Breath
2) Clear Bad Vibes
3) Focus on Raising Your Energy
4) Set Intentions & Start Manifesting
5) Practice Gratitude
A few days ago, I had a session with a wonderful intuitive. I left the session so "jacked-up" with excitement - that I could barely breathe. I was so grateful because a cloud of uncertainty lifted and instead of focusing on the craziness and fear of these uncertain times - I could again see a much larger and more exciting and joyful future!
A few days passed, with the busyness of life...and then came Monday. I'm quite sure that somewhere along the lines...Monday should have in some way been a four-letter word...maybe FMDY...(you can work on figuring that one out...I'll give you a hint - MDY = Monday).
I woke up and felt like that larger, more exciting future - smacked a 2x4 in my back. I was exhausted. All of sudden, all I could think about were a pile of questions - like, "What do I start with?" "How do I do this, without doing that?" "What if I don't know this yet?" Basically, I felt like I had 10 questions for every tip I had received.
The Level of Defeat was Staggering
Then, just like that, I found myself in my closet - lacing up my walking shoes...
I threw in my air-pods and pushed play on a healing audiobook on audible. I was ready to start walking and think about something else.
I made it a block.
The voice on the audiobook that I had been enjoying a week ago - was annoying me.
1) I decided to just breathe. I focused on inhaling so deep that I could actually feel my diaphragm doing its job. I inhaled through my nose, sucked the air so deep that it reached my naval, and exhaled through my mouth - like I was blowing out all of the toxic, fear-based energy I had been chocking on that morning.
Then I turned onto the next road...
2) I chose to clear out every particle of those bad vibes. I continued my breath and focused on different parts of my body, starting with the top of my head and finishing at the tip of my toes. I just kept breathing in good energy and exhaling bad.
Then came the uphill street...
3) I made the effort to raise my energy. Now that I had cleared my blockages, I wanted to shift my energy back up. I chose a short chakra mediation that I know by heart. I stayed present and rocked it!
Now a level road...
4) I set intentions and started manifesting. I thought of all of the wonderful words of guidance and motivation that the intuitive told me a few days earlier and I turned them into affirmations that resonated with me. I repeated them over and over again, breathing them through each cell of my body. Then I envisioned what this new reality meant for me and I started manifesting.
Now the downhill homestretch...
5) It's all about the gratitude, baby! I spent every step back to my house saying gratitude for everything I could think of...moving my body, raising my energy, making it up the hill (dang, that was a big hill!), clearing fear, getting clear on my intentions...and the 500+ move points I just earned on my Apple Watch (that shit is really addicting)!
Home. Done. New Me. New Energy. Reset. Worth the Walk.
Fun message for those who hung on until the end...
Not even an hour later, I picked-up my phone to clear some notifications (stupid addiction - I know) before I watered the garden. An alert popped up for a Facebook Live (from a coach) that I had been meaning to watch again soon. The two amazing women featured started chatting and within 2 minutes had answered one of my questions/concerns for my future from the morning, and then another, and then 5 more...I guess I had the power to manifest the answers from the universe - all by myself!!!
